Axxela Limited is a subsidiary of Glover Gas & Power B.V., a portfolio venture co-owned by Helios Investment Partners LLP and Sojitz Corporation. We are currently pursuing a growth strategy aimed at expanding our over $500m investments in the Oil & Gas industry. Our vision is to power Africa with innovative energy solutions. We have developed over 300km of gas pipeline networks in Nigeria, and we are currently delivering natural gas to about 180 industrial and commercial consumers in Nigerian and West African markets.

We are looking to engage a Human Resource Supervisor to provide the business with the professional advisory and guidance it requires to attract, retain and manage performance; develop and reward a ‘world class’ human resource that will effectively contribute to the achievement of corporate objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design and development of HR systems, processes and policies.
  • Drive execution of performance improvement programs and people management strategies, in line with the company’s overall direction.
  • Work with functional and business unit leaders to design effective organizational structures and job profiles.
  • Develop and implement human resource management plans (e.g. Strategic Workforce Plan, Succession Plan and Annual Budgets).
  • Coordinate organization-wide performance management process (i.e. performance planning/target setting, performance monitoring and periodic performance appraisals).
  • Manage relationship with all outsourced service providers and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Initiate and drive change management programmes.

Essential Requirements:

  • 1st degree in Humanities, Social Sciences or Administration from a reputable university.
  • 7 – 10 years’ cognate work experience in tactical and operational HR within a reputable and structured business environment, preferably a consulting firm
  • Relevant Professional Certification e.g. CIPM, CIPD.
